quando nasce un mobile - furnitures

So che da questa foto non si capisce di cosa si tratti e non ve lo svelerò in questo post (ma lo farò in seguito).
Eppure questa immagine mi ha emozionata per più motivi. Uno di questi è che amo il legno naturale senza trattamenti e la lavorazione artigianale all'antica. Un altro motivo è che ci sono due bambini che lo aspettano con grande curiosità ed entusiasmo.
Lo stesso che ho provato nel progettarlo e che adesso provo nel seguirne le fasi di realizzazione.

Know that from this photo is not clear what it is and I will not reveal in this post (but I'll do it later.)
But I love this picture for several reasons. One of them is I love the natural wood without treatment and the old-fashioned craftsmanship. Another reason is that there are two children who expect it with great curiosity and enthusiasm.

The same as I have enjoyed designing and now following steps of realization.

dietro il progetto - behind the project

In genere non si pubblicano le foto di cantiere. Ho pensato però che fosse interessante andare contro tendenza e mostrarne alcune perché sono comunque esplicative  di quanto accada intorno ad un progetto e di quante figure entrino in gioco affinché un’idea, un concetto, possa diventare forma, funzione, decorazione.

It is generally not publish photos of the construction site. But I thought it was interesting to go against the trend and show some of them because they are explanatory of what happens around a project and how many figures come into play in order that an idea, a concept, can become form, function, decoration.

La progettazione e la realizzazione di mobili su misura rendono unici gli ambienti. Il passaggio dalla progettazione alla materializzazione di un mobile è complesso.
Significa coniugare le esigenze del cliente con le tecniche di realizzazione tenendo conto di tutte le problematiche che può portare con se un materiale vivo come il legno. 

Il processo per quanto stimolante può risultare estenuante. 

Il segreto per una buona riuscita consiste nel lavorare con artigiani con i quali si sia sintonizzati sulla stessa lunghezza d'onda il che non è così scontato. Mi sono occorsi anni per costruire una squadra di bravissimi artigiani, ognuno un vero esperto nel proprio mestiere.

La cura di ogni dettaglio, estetico e tecnico, fa la differenza.  

the details that make the difference

I love the design and creation custom furniture because they make  unique each environment. Switch from design to furnishings materialization is a complex process.

It means combining the needs of the customer with techniques construction  taking into account all the problems that can bring a live material such as wood.

The process can be exciting and exhausting at the same time. The secret to success is to work with artisans with whom you are tuned to the same wavelength, which is not so obvious. 

It took me years to build a team of skilled craftsmen, each one an expert in his work.

The care of every detail, even the technician who can not see, makes the difference.
