Vico Magistretti, archivio in viaggio

L'archivio in viaggio dell'architetto e designer Vico Magistretti  è approdato, nell'ambito della manifestazione iDesign, ai Cantieri Culturali della Zisa, a Palermo.

Presso il padiglione ZAC, ho avuto il privilegio di allestire, insieme a Daniela Brignone - ideatrice della manifestazione - la mostra che racconta  il mondo del Maestro attraverso foto, schizzi, progetti, memorie ed oggetti. 

La mostra promossa dalla Fondazione Magistretti e dall'Azienda DePadova, si è svolta dal 13 al 25 ottobre.

Ringrazio gli studenti della Facoltà di Architettura e dell'Accademia di Belle Arti che hanno contribuito alla realizzazione.

The  traveling archive of the architect and designer Vico Magistretti has arrived, within the event iDesign, to the Cantieri cultural Zisa, ZAC pavilion, where I had the privilege to design, with the event creator Daniela Brignone,  the exhibition sponsored by the Foundation Magistretti and by the Company  DePadova.

The exibition tells the world of the Maestro through photographs, sketches, plans, memories and objects.

I thank the students of the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts Academy who contributed to the realization.

quando nasce un mobile - furnitures

So che da questa foto non si capisce di cosa si tratti e non ve lo svelerò in questo post (ma lo farò in seguito).
Eppure questa immagine mi ha emozionata per più motivi. Uno di questi è che amo il legno naturale senza trattamenti e la lavorazione artigianale all'antica. Un altro motivo è che ci sono due bambini che lo aspettano con grande curiosità ed entusiasmo.
Lo stesso che ho provato nel progettarlo e che adesso provo nel seguirne le fasi di realizzazione.

Know that from this photo is not clear what it is and I will not reveal in this post (but I'll do it later.)
But I love this picture for several reasons. One of them is I love the natural wood without treatment and the old-fashioned craftsmanship. Another reason is that there are two children who expect it with great curiosity and enthusiasm.

The same as I have enjoyed designing and now following steps of realization.
